Beautification Awards

Selah Downtown Association recognizes and rewards downtown business and property owners, developers, community groups and neighborhood advocates for their exemplary improvement, maintenance and upkeep of properties and their work to build a greater sense of community in downtown Selah.

SDA presents annual Beautification Awards in the following categories:

  • Residential, Single-Family Homes
  • Residential, Multi-Family Properties
  • Small Businesses
  • Corporate/Franchise Businesses or Co-ops
  • Public Facility or Service Provider
  • Individual Award: "Community Place-Maker"
  • Individual Award: "Beautification Advocate"
  • Community Organization or Group

SDA welcomes public nominations of properties located in downtown Selah that stand    out as an example of city beautification. All nominations must be received by June 30th of each year, and specify the property address, description and basis for nomination.
